Sohum/Agency Caucasus - Three groups of the Abkhazian youth began public marches from some borderlands of the country towards the capital city of Sukhum 15 years after the Georgian occupation started a war there in 1992.
The final destination for young Abkhazian marchers is set to be the Red Bridge region where a monument will later be erected in honour of the Sukhum war victims. As one group is coming from the eastern side of the country, the other group is coming from the western side. A third group began marching from the Damhurts naval passage. All three groups will have the chance tonight to listen to stories from war veterans as well. On Tuesday morning, the young Abkhazian marchers will organize a commemorative event in the Red Bridge region, where the war started on August 14, 1992. The ending of the war will also be commemorated in the same place on September 30. http://www.ajanskafkas.com/haber,16627,detay.htm
