SUKHUMI. Aug 9 (Interfax) - Two women were killed by a powerful explosion on the outskirts of the seaside resort of Gagry in Abkhazia, head of the Gagry district administration Astamur Ketsaba announced Thursday.
"A group of Russian vacationers [6 women and 4 children] were having a picnic not far from a camping area. They used a rusty cylinder- shaped metal pipe they had found in the sand as a barbecue pit. The pipe heated up and exploded," he said.
