The seminar for the chiefs of the town, area and village administrations was held on May 25 in Sukhumi. The president of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh took part in it.
As they informed IА REGNUM in the department of the governmental information by the president, the leader of the republic considers that the seminar could help "to reveal ‘hot spots’", to improve interaction among various structures of the state authority. "We build our state and we should know what chiefs we have on places, what problems they face, what resources they’ve got, what the help they need", - Bagapsh told.
He also notified that the agriculture will be financed from Privatization Fund with “proved real projects".
Bagapsh underlined importance of countryside for preservation of Abkhazian language and traditions. At the same time, he focused attention of the participants of the seminar on the problem of drunkenness and narcotics. "In some villages they start grow narcotic plants, and all that happens openly for inhabitants, chiefs of the administrations. Who else if not a head of administration, should know what is done near him in a village, in what our youth is engaged", - Bagapsh said.
The president offered to the ministers, other high-ranked officials to communicate with the inhabitants of areas in the closer and more active ways to know better their problems.
