The president of Georgia Michael Saakashvili declared that in Abkhazia "they should not any longer eat illusions" in relation to getting of the international support since the international commonwealth "an avalanche of statements" about condemnation of the results of the parliamentary elections in Abkhazia took place.
"There hadn’t for the last years such avalanche of statements in which the elections in Abkhazia were condemned and the close attention was paid to internally displaced persons", - Saakashvili declared on Friday, March 9th, to the journalists in Tokyo where he had been with a working visit.
"It has been so much time we are speaking that the main problem there is that people do not come back to their homes. But nobody had paid to that any attention for the last years so far", - he added.
As "Caucasian unit" had already informed, the European Union, the NATO, the operating OSCE chairman, the Secretary general of the Council of Europe, the state - members GUAM and the USA had condemned the parliamentary elections in Abkhazia. In its turn, Russia declared that "it respects" with the elections, as "continuation of the democratic tendencies" demonstrated during the local elections in that region.
