7/3/2007 CEC of Abkhazia has summed up the elections
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Abkhazia has registered 18 Parliament deputies, and in 16 constituencies the second election round will be held in a fortnight.
The CEC has recognized the elections at the Sukhumi Electoral Constituency No. 4 to be invalid because of a complaint that was lodged by a trustee of one of the candidates - Batal Arshba.
Totally, there were 108 candidates for 35 places in the Parliament of Abkhazia.
