According to the president, reported IА REGNUM correspondent in Sukhumi, the sanctions had sharply worsened the humanitarian situation in the country. "Unfortunately, the countries which signed that resolution, became involved in sufferings of our people, to infringement of the human rights recognized at the international level", - he said.
"Despite of some change in the mode of the sanctions, all of them have not yet cancelled and now objectively worsen social and economic position of population of our republic", - noted the president, having emphasized "tendencies developing recently within the negotiating process, confirm that use of sanctions was erroneous".
The president of Abkhazia expressed a regret that "for understanding their inefficiency is had left 10 years". " These years have a hard affect for each inhabitant of Abkhazia. We are assured that the decision of the CIS countries should be cancelled", - declared the leader of the state.
