The president of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh named "irresponsible" the statements of the Forum of national unity of December, 23rd in which there was an appeal "to declare moratorium on privatization of big objects of the real estate before development of legislative principles of effective using of the fixed capital of the country that corresponds the national interests of Abkhazia and its security".
"The people writing such proclamations, had had powers and authorities for long time and still had not made anything for our republic", - he told. The leader of Abkhazia once again confirmed that the new authority had not sold any other object. "We have carried out only those obligations which the authority had given the investors before us. It concerns rest houses "Moscow", "Cold small river" and "Solar", - declared the president.
As IА REGNUM correspondent in Sukhumi reported, at the same time Bagapsh noted that those objects which were in the disorganized condition, would be restored. He agreed with the opinion of the opposition that objects should be on sale under competitive basis, in opened and public ways. "We do not do anything privately", - emphasized the president. - and the things made during 10 years for that we should to take and write in, where and to whom the objects of the resort sphere, under what rent had been given", - told Sergey Bagapsh. He considered that in everything there should be fair approach, and all the questions must be openly discussed with the parliament and the government. It would be better, in Bagapsh’s opinion, "to create joint-stock companies, and then to sell share-stock as they do all over the world".
As to the control over actions of the authorities about which it was spoken in the FNU statements, Bagapsh declared: "let carry them out the control at home in their family budgets. There are the power structures, engaged in the control over us. Once again I declare: there is no Georgian money standing behind all these processes. It will be never here", - the president Sergey Bagapsh told at the press conference, having specified that in Abkhazia money of Russian and foreign businessmen would work.
